Edmondscote Athletics Finals 

A fantastic afternoon was had by all of our qualifying athletes at Edmondscote track for the Central Warwickshire Primary Athletics Championships. 

On Tuesday 25^th June the heat was as fierce as the competition and our athletes were up against the best of the best but that didn't stop their determination to give it their all and make us proud!!! 

We had five athletes place in the  top three for their chosen events. 

Year 3- Lily - 50m sprint - Silver  

               Henry - Long Jump - Bronze

Year 4- Sam -50m Sprint - Sliver

Year 5- Sophie - 75m Sprint - Silver

               Thomas -Javelin - Bronze

The afternoon started with us trying to keep cool under a shade whilst having some food to keep up our energy levels. A quick warm-up completely, although we didn't really need warming up any further, then straight into both the track and field events which ran simultaneously. Ourselves and the fellow Warwick school competitors were great at cheering each other on and all of our children were fantastic ambassadors for All Saints'. 

Y5 and 6 children had a beautiful day for the second cross-country race of the season, this time taking place at Priory Park in Warwick.
