LEARNING TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT IN SCHOOL
Playing a musical instrument is great fun and helps children to develop self-discipline and confidence. Mastering an instrument can enhance educational attainment and creativity and gives children a sense of achievement. It also has positive benefits on their health and wellbeing. We currently offer violin and keyboard lessons through Warwickshire music teachers and RockSteady Rock and Pop Band lessons (see below re how to sign up for these lessons). We also offer piano and guitar lessons through independent music teachers – please enquire at the office to find out more.
Playing regularly in a Music Group:
· Enhances progress in music lessons
· Improves mental health and well-being
· Develops team and organisation skills
· Builds self-confidence, resilience, social and interpersonal skills
· Boosts educational attainment
Above all, making music with others its great fun!
