School Performance

Understanding our school performance information

At All Saints’, we are proud to be an inclusive school where every child is known, valued and supported as an individual. Over 30% of our pupils are identified as having Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), and many children join us with a wide range of starting points in their learning.

Because of this, our end of Key Stage 2 attainment results (the percentage of pupils meeting the national expected standard) are not always directly comparable with those of other schools. National figures do not always reflect the complexity and diversity of our school community or the barriers some children have had to overcome.

For an inclusive school like ours, progress is therefore a particularly important measure. Progress shows how much children have learned during their time with us, regardless of their starting points. It helps demonstrate that all children, including those with SEND, are making meaningful progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Due to the impact of the Covid pandemic, KS2 progress measures are not available for the 2024/25 results. National KS1–KS2 progress measures are expected to return with the 2025/26 and 2026/27 KS2 SATs. When these measures return, they will provide a fairer and more informative picture of the progress children at All Saints’ make over time.

In the meantime, we continue to closely track individual pupil progress across the school using a range of assessment information, teacher judgements and professional knowledge. This ensures that teaching, support and intervention are carefully matched to each child’s needs, enabling them to flourish and achieve their very best.

At All Saints’, success is not defined solely by test outcomes at the end of Year 6, but by the progress children make from their own starting points, the confidence they develop as learners, and their readiness for the next stage of education and life.
