Music Groups and Lessons

LEARNING TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT IN SCHOOL

Playing a musical instrument is great fun and helps children to develop self-discipline and confidence. Mastering an instrument can enhance educational attainment and creativity and gives children a sense of achievement. It also has positive benefits on their health and wellbeing. We currently offer violin and keyboard lessons through Warwickshire music teachers and are now able to offer clarinet / saxophone lessons from September 2023. (see below re how to sign up for these lessons). We also offer piano and guitar lessons – please enquire at the office to find out more.

If the instrument your child wishes to learn is not on offer at our school, lessons can also be arranged through the Warwickshire Music Hub after school at one of their four area Music Centres located across Warwickshire. Follow this link for more information: Warwickshire Music Hub

Playing regularly in a Music Group:

· Enhances progress in music lessons

· Improves mental health and well-being

· Develops team and organisation skills

· Builds self-confidence, resilience, social and interpersonal skills

· Boosts educational attainment

Above all, making music with others its great fun!
