Online Safety in the Computing Curriculum

Online-Safety has an important focus in the National Curriculum Framework. Children will be taught to:

  •       Use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly
  •       Know a range of ways to report concerns and inappropriate behavior

Please go the Computing tab in the Curriculum section for more information.

Children will take part in activities related to Safer Internet Week and other campaigns relating to keeping safe online.

As part of our commitment to online-Safety, we continue to work towards the standards of the online-Safety Mark accreditation’ through 360 degree safe. For more information about this process, click on the link below:

All of our teaching and support staff receive annual updates of online-safety training through the National College for Education. This means that we can ALL work together to make sure that your children stay safe online.

The college also offer a really useful course about online-safety for parents:

All children will be asked to sign an Acceptable User Agreement, below.
